DEVON DEMING

Writer, filmmaker, musician, and voice-over artist, Devon has been creating across disciplines since childhood.
She began writing music and poetry at a young age, using language and sound as early forms of expression and reflection.
One of her first published poems, "The Kiss"—written when she was twelve and inspired by her connection with a horse—marked an early commitment to storytelling rooted in emotion, observation, and intimacy.
Devon studied creative writing and poetry at UCLA, where she refined her voice and deepened her understanding of narrative, rhythm, and craft. Her education continues to inform her work across mediums, from written word to film and voice.
While her professional career is in public service, her creative practice remains central to her life. She continues to write, create, and collaborate as a way of staying connected to meaning, presence, and the inner life, producing work that values sincerity, nuance, and thoughtful expression.
